For small businesses

Stay on top of your agreements without it becoming a job

In a small business, the managing director is often responsible for everything from insurance to the accounting software. Licens keeps track of the deadlines so you can spend your time elsewhere.

Few agreements, expensive mistakes

A small business might have fifteen or twenty running agreements: a car and printer lease, insurance, phones, accounting software, the website, a couple of SaaS tools and rent. It's not many, but it's enough for one of them to renew at a bad moment. Between businesses, the agreement's own terms largely decide, and they aren't always as customer-friendly as what you're used to as a consumer.

Licens is designed to be quick to set up. Add your agreements, make yourself the owner and perhaps a colleague the deputy, and let the reminders do the rest. The free plan covers up to 10 agreements and one user.

What you get

  • One overview sorted by deadline

Red under 30 days, yellow under 90, green otherwise. You see at once what's urgent.

  • Reminders that get through

E-mail 60, 30 and 7 days before and on the day – plus SMS on paid plans.

  • Annual cost in one place

See what the business pays for all agreements combined each year.

  • The contract alongside

Upload the contract so you don't have to search your inbox.

Get started over a cup of coffee

  1. Find your five most expensive agreements

Start with the ones that cost the most or bind you longest. The rest can follow.

  2. Enter the expiry date and notice period

They're in the contract or on the last invoice. Licens works out the deadline.

  3. Subscribe to the calendar

Add the private calendar link to your phone so you see deadlines there too.

Questions from small businesses

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 10 agreements and one user, with no time limit. If you need more agreements, more users or SMS, you can upgrade.

I don't know the notice period for every agreement. What should I do?

Check the contract, the vendor's terms online or ask the vendor. Until you know for sure, enter a cautious estimate and add a note on the agreement.

Don't consumer protection rules apply to businesses?

Rules designed to protect consumers generally don't apply in the same way between businesses. That's why the agreement's own terms matter – and why deadlines matter.

Can my accountant get access?

Yes. You can invite your accountant as a user in your organisation with whatever role you choose.
